How to Get Accepted into a CPA Network
5 j V6 i0 h' eIn order to start marketing offers, it will be necessary to join one or more CPA networks. A good place; G/ v; M( y2 x d( V# ]( z

Getting an internet hosting account is beyond the scope of this guide, but a few things need to be said2 m( W3 E$ R$ V( z3 M
about internet hosting. In general, you get what you pay for with hosting. When you use a shared7 _* E: J5 ~* K: W. [6 E
host for PPV traffic, you are putting yourself at huge risk because your bandwidth is shared with- |4 U$ f5 \6 M+ Q0 u' R
whoever else is on the same server as you.
4 T) l9 D* n1 k, V4 i( g# JSpeed is the name of the game in PPV traffic. Your offers and landing pages need to pop up fast [7 d! d* t4 {, M0 N9 I
enough that the visitor can't close the window before your pop up is even shown. You have about 34 x- H, k( J' B# ]
seconds before the user can get that window shut. If your offer doesn't show in that time, tough luck.
. s" `: O+ m. d2 I2 ]To explain the difference between types of hosting packages, picture a refrigerator (the server) in a
7 [4 F# F+ y! I7 s7 e# l: Mhouse full of roommates (hosting customers).
9 P. D% {7 b) m3 P2 C. T) MIn shared hosting, this is like having roommates where everyone has no specific designated area inside
5 `9 j6 \, K2 O# J7 i, e6 Bthe fridge where they are supposed to put their food. Everyone just jams their food in however it will
' q6 L2 n, F+ Y% R% w' j% Rfit.
B6 s6 w' H; `- e; f9 ISay your roommate brings home a large turkey. They will then take up more of the refrigerator than
+ v4 _; S. ^% Xthe rest of the roommates, by virtue of simply needing more space and resources to accommodate
, p+ ~. k% z6 ]their food. Everyone else's food in the house has less space to take advantage of.- o6 I% X7 W0 [
If you have less server resources to take advantage of, your ability to serve popups will slow down. For
5 C. I& i5 ]+ @4 v% Many type of hosting this is a bad thing, and especially while running PPV traffic.
0 r; O, _. c8 L. P, X1 hIn the case of a virtual private server (VPS), everyone in the house has their own designated space
, W( j' v% N8 N1 ?inside the fridge to put their food, and other roommates can't come into that space. The server is
( }8 I+ b3 L' o: H, d* opartitioned, so that each customer can only use a specific amount of resources at any given time.$ i( b9 Y# h; G1 f
A dedicated server would be like having the whole fridge to yourself. All of the server's resources
3 l) X) b* B4 {! V) c. F" f2 ?: Rbelong to you and no one else can use up those resources. This makes it possible to serve much more
9 o$ p: u4 Z1 p* u( I$ ^" ztraffic, faster.$ B: Q6 f0 J% g) w5 l
At the very minimum, you need a VPS to run PPV traffic, and at higher volumes, a dedicated server.4 |" T3 X% R9 I% Q) y$ U% |

Domain Names for PPV1 Z+ @/ X6 H% h
Once you buy your hosting it's time to also buy a domain name and get it on your hosting. This is
% S& n3 f3 g9 ~9 A4 zwhere you're going to host your tracking software and your landing pages if you decide to make them.$ v* I* U9 p- ^8 e* @
Oftentimes people wonder if they should have a specific domain name or a generic one. One generic,
