How to Get Accepted into a CPA Network4 |1 k* D' u5 }" |7 _
In order to start marketing offers, it will be necessary to join one or more CPA networks. A good place) v1 j0 P) p5 `0 n) i4 R: R
to start looking for networks is Offervault which lists offers and lets you compare payouts across

Once you find a network that you want to join, fill out the affiliate (sometimes called publisher)

Set Up Web Hosting
4 u0 Y$ Y( H5 AGetting an internet hosting account is beyond the scope of this guide, but a few things need to be said
/ `7 N( A' K1 I" q1 \$ S, _/ Pabout internet hosting. In general, you get what you pay for with hosting. When you use a shared' L+ M3 B" Y* I( j( F0 _
host for PPV traffic, you are putting yourself at huge risk because your bandwidth is shared with
' a6 n# Q& c, ~$ W8 Fwhoever else is on the same server as you.1 s2 W5 ]: A# W2 p& S
Speed is the name of the game in PPV traffic. Your offers and landing pages need to pop up fast
1 {! ]# n+ ]+ S8 ~+ Tenough that the visitor can't close the window before your pop up is even shown. You have about 3
$ B* J: \3 {' S' \seconds before the user can get that window shut. If your offer doesn't show in that time, tough luck.0 Z0 h( q! v/ d" `
To explain the difference between types of hosting packages, picture a refrigerator (the server) in a
' N/ X8 A$ {6 @+ q: c3 c+ }% Ehouse full of roommates (hosting customers).9 i% z9 `3 ]% Q+ y2 U
In shared hosting, this is like having roommates where everyone has no specific designated area inside
& t3 S: d5 u% y$ y; y9 mthe fridge where they are supposed to put their food. Everyone just jams their food in however it will
3 s/ |( M9 i. X. ^fit.
: n0 O# g% {3 P2 m4 q1 OSay your roommate brings home a large turkey. They will then take up more of the refrigerator than9 g9 k6 J8 ]0 X% _; M( z. B* M
the rest of the roommates, by virtue of simply needing more space and resources to accommodate
7 f, W( i4 E' j+ O# C6 etheir food. Everyone else's food in the house has less space to take advantage of.
( |' ?4 R# x4 K2 a) Z3 ]& @If you have less server resources to take advantage of, your ability to serve popups will slow down. For
9 n; N6 U( ? ]- l, M) v( D c/ rany type of hosting this is a bad thing, and especially while running PPV traffic.
+ t- q' Z- T! Q3 sIn the case of a virtual private server (VPS), everyone in the house has their own designated space# E) S% y3 R' l% P) ?# a
inside the fridge to put their food, and other roommates can't come into that space. The server is+ j T ]- c$ i k- X1 b
partitioned, so that each customer can only use a specific amount of resources at any given time.
5 K; S1 H5 J- CA dedicated server would be like having the whole fridge to yourself. All of the server's resources5 m: J% b: G2 P% ?
belong to you and no one else can use up those resources. This makes it possible to serve much more, n) H3 C8 p/ P0 Z
traffic, faster.
) {; h, A; B4 o3 Z, F3 DAt the very minimum, you need a VPS to run PPV traffic, and at higher volumes, a dedicated server.4 V& F, ^/ S% o( g$ \

Once you buy your hosting it's time to also buy a domain name and get it on your hosting. This is; A9 i. p- t& C+ L" M

, v& }) q$ ^' k1 E. H1 x9 kOftentimes people wonder if they should have a specific domain name or a generic one. One generic,
