I am reporting OkkProxy.com and niuproxy.com for deliberately double-counting bandwidth.
In their official Telegram support chat, their staff openly admitted that they calculate traffic as upstream + downstream and then multiply it by 2. This means users are charged for twice the data they actually use.

They tried to justify it with “binary vs decimal” calculation, but their own numbers clearly show the x2 multiplier (for example, around 375 MB becomes 750 MB, and 533 MB becomes over 1000 MB).

This is a misleading and unfair billing practice. Most legitimate proxy providers do not double the traffic like this. OkkProxy and niuproxy method effectively reduces the real value of the package by half.

I have clear screenshots of their staff admitting this practice. Anyone considering buying from them should be aware of this issue.

The easiest way to check this kind of thing is probably to establish an independent baseline first.

I had a similar bandwidth question before and used theProxyVero traffic calculator to estimate the expected usage. Then you can compare that number with what the provider reports and check how they define billable traffic.

It doesn't necessarily mean the provider is doing anything wrong — different providers can have different accounting rules — but a large unexplained gap is definitely worth asking about.

Actually, I've used over 15 different providers, and I even created a counter. All the other providers were accurate; they only calculated upstream and downstream simultaneously to get the total bandwidth used.

But okkproxy and niuproxy are different. As you can see, after calculating upstream and downstream, they double the amount.

They claim it's their method and initially tried to hide it, but I investigated and found out. They admitted that instead of calculating in two directions, they calculated in four directions, resulting in doubled bandwidth. They claim they won't change it and even challenged me to post a warning.

Furthermore, when I initially checked before purchasing the package, they only calculated in two directions like other providers. But after I bought a package of several tens of TB, they switched to four-way calculation, and my tens of TB vanished quickly.

They froze my account 30 minutes ago and haven't explained why, nor have they responded to my messages.

I still have over 10TB in my account.
